HOAN NHIEN WELLNESS ACTIVITIES

1/ “HOAN NHIEN” BODY & MIND QIGONG Instructor: Alex Tran – Founder of Hoan Nhien Inc.
“Hoan” means return, be back. “Nhien” means nature. Hoan Nhien is a theory of Vietnamese body and mind qigong training to achieve a healthy body and peaceful mind.  This theory has been handed down many generations in Viet Nam.
Hoan Nhien qigong is a way to activate a natural healing source hidden within us to connect with nature’s energy while training our body and soul, to recover the living force of our body and soul that is exhausted by time.
Either we pay attention to the Body or Spirit improvement, we must train in a Nature law.
Body and spirit are two parts of a human; the connection between them cannot be separated. To survive and evolve in this life, we cannot lack or forget either one of them. The physical body is the outside shape of spirit, and the spirit is the inner shape of the body. If there is anything that impacts the body, it will affect the spirit. In reverse, if there is anything that influences the spirit, it will influence the body as well. Body and spirit have a connection in all aspects of our lives
“Back to Nature” training starts with the body first, then the spirit. Training is from outside to inside, from simple level to complicated one. For that reason, “Back to Nature” Qigong creates a body-training program; through this training, a person will recognize the body’s weakness from illness or lack of exercises in life. At the same time, while training the body, he will recognize all the hindrances deeply dwelling in his soul, all the hidden bad habits staying in his mind caused by his laziness and arrogant.

Gentle Flow offers nurturing, kindness, and compassion for the body, regardless of whether you are new in yoga, old or young, injured, or healthy. Gentle Yoga moves slowly and mindfully, allow practitioners to move safely into each pose, with sufficient time to make any adjustments.
Gentle Yoga is great for beginners to absorb the principles and alignment cues essential to yoga. You can ease into it on your own terms, without feeling left behind by a more fast-paced flow.
It increases flexibility and mobility. Since the poses are whispered, the muscles have a chance to loosen and lengthen. This increases overall flexibility and mobility, which can be a major benefit for anyone suffering from stiffness, joint pain, or lack of mobility. Breathing deeply during the process warms up the body, making it more malleable for whatever happens next.
In yoga, breath, or pranayama, is the single most important part of the practice. Gentle Flow Yoga provides plenty of time for yogis to focus on matching the length of their inhales to the length of their exhales. What’s the result? Space. Space in the body, space in the mind, and a clearer canvas for overall tranquility.
Also, Gentle Flow Yoga helps increase Mindfulness. Mindfulness is an enlightened, calming, meditative mental state that’s achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment. Gentle Flow Yoga allows practitioners to acknowledge and accept their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations, because they’re given ample time to simply be with themselves.
